On Wednesday nights, the Winthrop Rink is home to an athletic spectacle like none other in the Methow Valley. The co-ed teams of the Methow Hockey League take to the ice in their season-long pursuit of the Rufus C. Finch Cup. With nothing short of absolute glory on the line, these beauties play their hearts out for a chance to take Rufus home. See you on the ice!

Registration for 2026-2027 will open in September.

Subs should email the commissioners before registering.

There were some hard fought games last night! Here is how tomorrow night is looking. It’s your last night of the season to get out to cheer on your friends, and heckle your foes…don’t miss out! Games are scheduled for 6, 7:30, and 9.

This is the OFFICIAL bracket for playoffs! Please disregard the one on the last post, for, like so many of us, it is flawed.
Games 1-3 will be on Monday 2/23 and games 4-6 will be on Wednesday 2/25. Start times are 5:30, 7:00, and 8:30 so long as the conditions of the ice hold up for those earlier start times.

Get on out to @winthroprink as these are sure to be some great games, and if for some reason they aren’t, get out anyway cause it’s your last chance till next season! Glory and the Rufus C Finch are on the line here people!!

Tonight is the last of the regular season play….luckily, everyone makes playoffs!! Get yourself down to the @winthroprink this evening for what is sure to be some great games!

Tonight’s games! Mother Nature is SUPPOSED to behave through these games, so come on down and get as holly jolly as these 3 MHLers! After tonight we will break until the 28th.

Here is the plan to make up the missed games this week: Sunday 12/14 at 8:30 PM heli v Pasayten
Tuesday 12/16 6:45 monark v PT followed by
hostel v GB at 8:00

Here it is folks. What you all have been waiting for….the battle for The Rufus. As you can see it’s in great hands, and we’ve been spit shining it all week! Come on out for our final night of the ‘24-‘25 MHL season! Games start at 6, 7:30, and the final battle at 9. The grill will be fired up and the stoke will be high. Week 10 games coming in hot! The number of Wednesday night hockey games is dwindling so get out and watch while you can! Also, be sure to mark your calendars for playoff games 2/24 and 2/26 (6pm puck drop).
